After their positive start to the season under new boss Maurizio Sarri, few Chelsea fans would admit to missing Antonio Conte.
However, the Italian could be about to find a new job sooner rather than later – and not some insignificant role, either.
With Real Madrid having lost three of their last four (scoring a grand total of zero goals), head coach Julen Lopetegui could be ousted just months into his reign at the Bernabeu.

Los Blancos have reportedly made contact with former Chelsea manager Conte, who could be parachuted into the Spanish capital to save a sinking season.
Interestingly, given the fact that Chelsea are still paying Conte, Real would have to cough up some form of compensatory payment if they wanted to hire the 49-year-old.
Santiago Solari of Real Madrid’s B Team is also being considered as a potential successor for Lopetegui, who left his role as Spain manager just before the World Cup after announcing he would take over as boss at the Spanish giants.
