Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have expressed an interest in signing in-form Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic, according to Calciomercato.
The promising forward has started the season in exceptional fashion for his side, netting on seven occasions in the Bundesliga and contributing with two goals in the Europa League as well.
Jovic’s early-season form does not appear to have gone unnoticed, either, with Chelsea now linked with a swoop for the prospect.
The 20-year-old is already an established international his native Serbia and was a part of his country’s World Cup squad. Jovic did, however, only make one brief substitute appearance.
Nevertheless, Jovic has continued to demonstrate his potential in Germany this term and has emerged as a talismanic figure for Frankfurt, netting freely for his side.
Chelsea could look to recruit a new centre-forward in January, with concerns still surrounding Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud’s respective capabilities in front of goal ahead of the second half of the season.
