Chelsea have reportedly earmarked Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek as a cheaper alternative to Inter’s Mauro Icardi.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, both strikers have been linked with moves to London, but there are already concerns from those at Chelsea that the Blues will be priced out a move for the Argentinian striker.
Icardi has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge with Maurizio Sarri keen to add to his attack, but with Real Madrid also keen, potential suitors are likely to be forced into spending big for his signature.

Piatek is considered to be the cheaper option of the two after his breakthrough season in Serie A.
The Genoa star has found the back of the net 13 times in all competitions already this season, attracting interest from some of the biggest teams in Europe.
Although Piatek may be considered as the cheaper option, Genoa are still expected to demand somewhere in the region of £40-£50 million after his goalscoring efforts this season.
