Spanish giants Barcelona are preparing a January swoop for Chelsea defender David Luiz.
According to The Express, via The BBC, Barcelona are keen to bring Luiz in and are ready to make a move in the upcoming transfer window.
Luiz was frozen out under Antonio Conte at Chelsea last season but has gone on to start every Premier League match this campaign after the arrival of Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge.
Barcelona have been impressed with his form and are looking to bring him in to compete with their current central defenders as they eye another La Liga title this season.
Luiz is out of contract at the end of the season and it remains to be seen whether or not Chelsea are ready to offer him a new contract.
The Brazilian defender has formed a solid partnership with German international Antonio Rudige at the back.
