Reported Chelsea target Hirving Lozano has revealed his admiration for Manchester United as rumours continue to link him with a move to the Premier League.
Speaking to TalkSPORT, as cited on Football365, after PSV’s 2-1 defeat to Tottenham in the Champions League, Lozano was quizzed on his future after being heavily linked with moves away over the summer.
When asked about the teams he enjoyed watching as a youngster, United came up in the discussion.
I liked Manchester United a lot. In Spain my favourite team is Barcelona.
Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, United and Everton were all said to be keen on the player over the summer.
It had been suggested that Maurizio Sarri was also keen to bring the player to Stamford Bridge to reinforce his attack.
The PSV winger was one of the more in-demand players during the most recent summer transfer window.
A stand-out Eredivisie campaign was followed up by an impressive World Cup for Mexico and a host of clubs were interested in signing him.
He decided to remain at PSV but is likely to attract interest from a number of clubs over the coming months.
