Chelsea’s Victor Moses could be convinced to come out of international retirement for Nigeria, according to a report from All Nigeria Soccer.

Moses announced his retirement from international football after the most recent World Cup.

Many thought his decision to retire was so he can concentrate on fighting his place in Maurizio Sarri’s new Chelsea side.

Under Antonio Conte, Moses was re-born into a right-wing-back over the past two seasons, but due to Sarri’s four at the back system, there is no place for Moses, with Azpilicueta playing right-back.

Moses has been linked with a move away in January, as he has only played once this season for the Blues and he has only made five substitute appearances.

Although he may be shunned out of the Chelsea side, he is still one of Nigeria’s superstars and the Super Eagles would love him to reverse his retirement decision, especially with the 2019 African Cup of Nations coming up next summer.
