Hysaj’s agent backs the Chelsea target to succeed in the Premier League

Elseid Hysaj’s agent says the Albanian defender would be a success in the Premier League following Chelsea’s interest.

The Napoli defender was heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge over the summer but remained with the Serie A side.

Hysaj was one of a number of Napoli players that Maurizio Sarri wanted to bring to London, with the Blues’ interest once again confirmed by agent Mario Giufreddi.

Giufreddi, who was speaking to Radio CRC, as cited on Calciomercato, goes on to add that he believes Hysaj could thrive in English football after developing into one of the top performing defenders in Italy in recent years.

Hysaj being targeted by Chelsea and other clubs? If you see that Ancelotti is playing Malcuit and you feel that Napoli is looking for other players, obviously it means that there are also requests for him.

Hysai is a player who can do well in English football, since he has a lot of physicality and he is being targeted by many big clubs. Is his worth 50 million? For me, he is worth 60.

After signing Jorginho from the Naples club, Aurelio De Laurentiis was keen for Sarri not to raid his former side and a reported ‘gentlemen’s agreement’ was put in place to prevent any further transfer activity.

However, Hysaj continues to be linked with moves to Stamford Bridge and elsewhere following the emergence of Kévin Malcuit in Naples.
