Milan have very cheekily asked Chelsea if they would lower their asking price for Tiemoue Bakayoko.
According to reports Tuttosport, as cited on Football Italia, Milan do not believe that the Frenchman’s performances justify the €40 million option to buy that the club holds as part of the loan agreement.
Milan spent €5 million to sign the player on loan and would need to part ways with another €35 million to secure a permanent deal.

However, that has not put Gennaro Gattuso’s men off the prospect of signing the player from the Blues at the end of the season.
After a rocky start to life at the San Siro, Bakayoko appears to be finding his feet in Italy and is beginning to impress.
It had previously been suggested that Milan could look to cut the loan deal short, but now, in a move that has gone full circle, they are looking to land the player at a cheaper rate.
