Derby County are said to be in talks over a deal to sign Lucas Piazon from Chelsea.
According to reports from Yahoo Esportes, Frank Lampard’s side will rival the likes of Corinthians and Valencia ahead of the January window.
The Brazilian is out of contract at Stamford Bridge in the summer and finally looks set to leave the club on a permanent basis.
Piazon has a wealth of Championship experience under his belt and played a key role in Fulham’s promotion from the second tier.
He looked set to join the Premier League new boys on a permanent basis over the summer but they opted to look elsewhere in the transfer market.
Having also impressed at Reading, Piazon could be a useful addition with the Rams pushing for promotion.
Piazon has become something of a forgotten figure at Chelsea, despite being heavily involved in pre-season under Maurizio Sarri.
