Chelsea will face competition from Inter in their pursuit of French midfielder Houssem Aouar.
According to reports in Italy, the San Siro outfit are also keen on the player who has recently drawn links to Stamford Bridge.
Reports emerging on Thursday morning suggested that Maurizio Sarri had asked Chelsea to complete a summer swoop for the player as he wants to strengthen in the middle of the park.

Aouar has attracted interest from a number of sides recently, with the aforementioned reports linking both Barcelona and Liverpool to the player.
However, both Chelsea and Inter appear to be ahead of them in the race to secure the midfielder’s signature.
It will not be easy for either club to land the player, with Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas known to be a difficult negotiator when it comes to losing star players.
The Ligue 1 outfit dug their heels in to keep Nabil Fekir over the summer and are likely to do same when clubs come calling for Aouar.
