Erik Lamela, Paulo Gazzaniga, and Juan Foyth are all doubtful for Saturday’s teatime kickoff against Chelsea, according to the Evening Standard.
The trio are all currently away with the Argentine national team, and are not due to return to London until late Friday night.
Argentina have just concluded two friendlies against Mexico, with both games ending in 2-0 victories for the Argentines.
Lamela appeared in both matches, whilst Foyth played a full 90 minutes in the first of the encounters. Gazzaniga replaced starting goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli during the second game.

With eight appearances so far in the league for Maurizio Pochettino’s men, Lamela has chipped in with four goals.
Gazzaniga is unlikely to be called upon, but Pochettino will be deprived of the chance of giving Foyth an opportunity to play against one of the finest attacking trios in the Premier League, and Alvaro Morata.
Should Pochettino call upon any of these players, it’s likely they’d be playing through tired eyes.
