Chelsea ready to make €80 Milan Skriniar offer

Chelsea are reportedly ready to make a €80 million offer to sign Inter defender Milan Skriniar.

According to a report from Sky Sports, as cited on Calciomercato, the Blues are said to be stepping up their interest in the defender.

Manchester United have been hoping to land the player, who has been impressing in Serie A this season, either in the January or summer window.

His performances are not going unnoticed, with Bayern and Barcelona also said to be admirers.

The Blues have also been aware of the player for some time, with their interest dating back into last year.

Maurizio Sarri has been keen to strengthen defensively since taking over at Stamford Bridge after missing out on the signing of Daniele Rugani over the summer.

Alessio Romagnoli has been linked with a move to London recently, but the Blues face a fight to lure him away from Milan.
