Chelsea hold talks with Milan to discuss deals for out-of-favour trio

Chelsea have reportedly held talks with Milan over potential deals for Gary Cahill, Cesc Fabregas and Andreas Christensen.

According to Sport Mediaset, as cited on Football Italia, Leonardo, the club’s director has been in contact with the Blues to discuss moves ahead of the January window.

All three players are being linked with potential moves to the San Siro, with the Italian outfit out to strengthen, ready for the second half of the season.

Fabregas and Cahill are out of contract in the summer and both appear unlikely to earn new deals at Stamford Bridge.

With their long-term futures appearing to be elsewhere, Chelsea may be happy to let either or both leave in the new year.

Christensen is also attracting interest after failing to break into Maurizio Sarri’s plans so far this season.

Milan are facing a potential injury crisis at the back and have shortlisted Christensen as a potential short-term fix in defence.

The Blues are keen to keep hold of the player but if a lack of game time in London continues, rumours of a move elsewhere will only grow stronger.
