Having been called up to Roberto Mancini’s Italian national team in recent weeks, his performances are clearly not going unnoticed.

Juventus, Roma, Napoli and Milan have also been linked with the midfielder who is emerging as one of the brightest prospects in Italian football.

With interest in Italy mounting, the Blues are facing a battle to land the player in the summer.

Brescia have reiterated their desire to keep the player in the new year, while it has also been claimed that Juventus could launch a January bid and loan the player back to the club for the remainder of the season.
