Fenerbahce want to sign Cesc Fabregas on a free transfer, as per the latest reports.
The Spaniard is out of contract at Stamford Bridge at the end of the season and it looks certain that he’ll be leaving the club.
Fenerbahce can officially make an offer to Fabregas in January with a view to a move in the summer, or they could see if they can do a deal with Chelsea in order to get the former Barcelona man during the winter window.
Aged 31, Fabregas’ time at Chelsea looks to have come to an end as the club have numerous younger players available to them, all of whom seem to be more favoured by Maurizio Sarri.
Fabregas will likely get the odd appearance in cup competitions between now and January but he’s unlikely to play a major part in Chelsea’s hunt for the Premier League title.
