Napoli are not ruling out a deal to sell defender Elseid Hysaj to Chelsea in the future.
Reports in Italy have revealed that should the club and Hysaj fail to meet an agreement over a new deal by January at the very latest, he will be forced into considering his options.
Chelsea have been very keen to bring the Albanian defender to the Premier League since Maurizio Sarri took the job.
Hysaj was one of a number of Napoli players that Sarri tried to bring with him to London, but was only able to sign Italian midfielder Jorginho.
Napoli are also aware of the emergence French defender Kévin Malcuit, who they signed from Lille not long ago.
The opportunity to sell Hysaj for big money, with a ready-made replacement already at the club could be too good of an offer to turn down for the Naples outfit.
Cesar Azpilicueta has been used at right-back this season but the potential arrival of Hysaj could see the Spaniard return to a central role going forward.
