Manchester United and Chelsea have both been credited with an interest in signing RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner.
Reports from SportBild in Germany, as cited on Sport Witness, have looked at the player’s potential next move, with his long-term future at Leipzig up in the air.
Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich have also been credited with an interest in the German international, who has impressed so many since joining the controversial Bundesliga outfit.
After establishing himself as one of the most potent strikers in Germany, Werner has been heavily linked with moves away from the Bundesliga.
The report claims that the player could still sign a new deal at Leipzig, with his current contract running until 2020.
However, the prospect of signing a new deal is not believed to be so straightforward and it is yet to be seen if a new offer will arrive for the striker.
With Werner now regarded as one of the best forwards in Europe, any move to sign the player is not going to come cheaply.
