Manchester City have reportedly made contact with the representatives of Chelsea and Liverpool target Houssem Aouar.
According to reports in France from L’Equipe, the Premier League champions are ready to step up their interest after he left a lasting impression against Pep Guardiola’s side in the Champions League.
The French outfit earned plenty of admirers for their performance against City earlier this week and Aouar was one of many to impress.
Aouar has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have all been scrambling to secure his services as he impresses in Ligue 1.
Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri is said to be a huge fan and has reportedly asked Chelsea to pursue a summer deal to sign the Frenchman.
