Eden Hazard reaches agreement to join Real Madrid

Eden Hazard has reportedly agreed terms to join Real Madrid at the end of the season.

According to Onda Madrid, as cited on Mundo Deportivo, both parties have agreed on terms ahead of a move to Spain next summer.

It is not yet clear how much Real will be looking to pay for Hazard, but Mateo Kovacic could be involved in the deal, according to the report.

Hazard is yet to confirm where the next step of his career will take him, with a summer exit from Stamford Bridge looking the most likely outcome for the Belgian.

While he is yet to confirm or deny any rumours regarding his future, he has admitted that he will not be leaving in January.

After seeing the reaction to Thibaut Courtois’ move to Real, Hazard, who would enter the final year of his contract next season, is keen to stay in the good books of Chelsea supporters.

Real have been long-term admirers of the player but were priced out of a deal to sign him after the World Cup.
