Chelsea will reportedly rival Manchester City in a bid to sign Leeds youngster Jack Clarke in January.
The Mirror reports that the two Premier League sides will battle it out for the winger, with both clubs identifying him as a prospect for the future.
It is claimed that both City and Chelsea will launch a bid in January, but it remains to be seen if the player would stay with the Championship side until the end of the season, with game time far more likely in the second tier.
City have been long-term admirers and tried to poach him from the Leeds acedemy before he had put pen to paper on a professional contract at the club.
They were unsuccessful in their pursuit and Clarke now finds himself on the fringes of the first-team squad at Elland Road having come through the ranks at the club.
Clarke made his league debut back in October and the 18-year-old has continued to impress under Marcelo Bielsa.
