Chelsea are reportedly among the teams keeping tabs on Marseille winger Florian Thauvin.
According to France Football, as cited on the Metro, the Frenchman is considering his options in Ligue 1, with a move away from Marseille being mooted.
Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich and Inter are all said to be interested in the playmaker who has been earning plenty of admirers in France.
Thauvin looks a shadow of the player that struggled so much during a short stint at Newcastle under Alan Pardew.
The Frenchman has taken his game to a new level in Ligue 1 and is now valued at £41 million.
Since leaving Newcastle, Thauvin has scored 56 goals in 128 games for Marseille and has cemented himself as one of their key players.
Thauvin’s regrettable time in the Premier League with Newcastle may put Chelsea at a disadvantage in the race to sign him, with a return to England unlikely to appeal to the 25-year-old.
