Valencia need Chelsea’s permission before ending Batshuayi’s loan
Chelsea will have the final call on any decision to cut Michy Batshuayi’s loan deal with Valencia short.
According to reports in Spain from Marca, as cited on Sport Witness, Valencia will need permission from Chelsea to end the striker’s loan deal early following his poor form.
It has been suggested that Valencia will look to send the Belgian international back to Stamford Bridge in the new year as they look to shop for alternatives in the striker department.
Things have not quite gone to plan for Batshuayi since arriving at Valencia, despite many expecting big things from the striker following the form he displayed at Borussia Dortmund last season.
Even if Batshuayi were to return to Chelsea, the report claims that a second loan move away to another club is the more likely option, despite the growing concerns over Alvaro Morata’s form under Maurizio Sarri this season.
