Borussia Dortmund’s director of sport Michael Zorc has ruled out the possibility of Christian Pulisic leaving the club in January.
Amid increasing links to Chelsea, Zorc has been discussing the winger’s future, as reported by Calciomercato.
I can say that in February you will see him again with the shirt of Borussia Dortmund. We will not leave any player considered important or essential to achieve our objectives.
Chelsea have been linked with a move to sign Pulisic as a direct replacement for Eden Hazard, with the Belgian expected to depart from Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
Hazard has been more than willing to discuss a future move to Real Madrid with his Chelsea contract up at the end of next season.
It has been suggested that the Blues would try and land Pulisic in the new year, but are expected to struggle in their attempts with the German side fighting for their first title since the 2011/12 season.
Reports have claimed Chelsea could agree a deal with Dortmund in January that would see the winger arrive in the summer and finish the campaign with the Bundesliga leaders.
