Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater is reportedly on West Ham’s radar ahead of the January transfer window.
According to the Daily Mail, the Hammers would be interested in a cut-price deal, with the midfielder facing a bleak future at Stamford Bridge.
Drinkwater is widely expected to leave Chelsea in the summer after falling out of favour under Maurizio Sarri.
The ex-Leicester man is not in Sarri’s plans but Chelsea are likely to struggle to move the midfielder on due to his high wages.

Drinkwater is believed to earn around £100,000-a-week and is unlikely to match that figure anywhere else.
Chelsea would like to recoup a large chunk of the £35 million they spent on him but may be forced into taking a loss in order to move him on in the near future.
The midfielder has become something of a forgotten figure at Stamford Bridge and has seen his career stall since his move from the King Power.
