Charlton Athletic boss Lee Bowyer has revealed that he would love to re-sign Jay Dasilva in January.
Speaking about the player’s future, as reported by London News Online, Bowyer accepted that any deal to bring the defender back to Charlton in January would be difficult.
We’d love to have him back with us but I can’t see it being a possibility. He has gone up to the Championship and done well. I’d be surprised if Chelsea take him back and loan him to us.

Dasilva is currently on loan at Bristol City but has fallen out of favour in recent weeks.
Despite impressing during the early stages of his loan move, Dasilva has been unable to make a mark in Lee Johnson’s squad.
Dasilva has missed out on the last three matchday squads, with suggestions emerging that he could return to Chelsea in January before heading out on loan elsewhere.
Chelsea will be keen to ensure that the youngsters away from the club are playing regularly, but will be cautious about pulling Dasilva away from Ashton Gate at the first sight of trouble.
The young defender enjoyed a fruitful loan spell at Charlton last season before moving up to the Championship.
