Chelsea are likely to miss out on Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot, after Matt Spiro of beIN Sports claimed the Frenchman agreed terms with Barcelona.
The 23-year-old had been widely reported as unsatisfied with his situation at PSG, and was angling for a move away from the Parc des Princes.
Several clubs from all over Europe were said to be keen on the French international, including the Blues.
However, it seems as though the Catalan giants have got the better of Chelsea this time.

The West Londoners had been on the hunt for a new midfielder, after a summer that largely revolved around new boss Maurizio Sarri trying to make his mark on the squad by bringing in players like Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic, the latter only at Stamford Bridge on a permanent deal, however.
Rabiot is an effective two-way player, and Sarri will no doubt be disappointed he wasn’t able to add the Saint-Maurice native to his squad.
