Chelsea target Fekir offered to Real Madrid

Chelsea and Liverpool target Nabil Fekir has reportedly been offered the chance to join Real Madrid.

According to Marca, the Spanish giants have been given the opportunity to snap up his services with a Lyon exit looming.

Club president Jean-Michel Aulas is said to have resigned himself to losing the French playmaker, with interest beginning to rise.

Real are believed to be considering the player as a potential replacement for the ageing Luka Modric.

Chelsea and Liverpool have long been linked with a move to sign Fekir, while Barcelona were also said to be interested in a deal.

Although, the latter are now believed to have moved on to alternative transfer targets.

It was reported last week that Chelsea had tasked an agent with making contact with Fekir’s representatives in a bid to secure a deal.

Maurizio Sarri remains keen to strengthen his midfield, with the likes of Isco and Denis Suarez also being linked with moves to Stamford Bridge.
