Morata ‘tired’ of Chelsea as he eyes Italy return

Alvaro Morata is said to be ‘tired’ with life at Chelsea as he continues to ponder a move back to Italy.

According to reports in Italy, the player is becoming increasingly disillusioned with life in London, with the striker unable to make an impact under Maurizio Sarri.

The former Real Madrid man struggled during his first season in Blue, working alongside Antonio Conte. Things have not improved and he has been unable to turn his form around under Chelsea’s latest head coach.

Juventus reportedly considered a deal to re-sign the striker over the summer but opted to move on to other targets when it became clear that they would be signing Cristiano Ronaldo in a blockbuster transfer deal.

Milan are also still interested in signing the player after they decided against a move in the summer.

They instead opted for Gonzalo Higuain, who was also linked with Chelsea, however, the Argentine has failed to live up to expectations at the San Siro.
