Chelsea demanding £40m for Hudson-Odoi

Chelsea are demanding a fee in the region of £40 million from Bayern Munich to sign young winger Callum Hudson-Odoi.

According to Sky Sports News, Chelsea have turned down a second offer in the region of £20 million for the young winger.

With Hudson-Odoi yet to fully break through at Stamford Bridge, he is already being linked with big-money moves to Germany, with Bayern said to be huge admirers.

The England youth international is highly rated at Stamford Bridge but is yet to sign a new long-term contract with the Blues.

Hudson-Odoi is the latest English player to be linked with a move to Germany following the success of Jadon Sancho with Borussia Dortmund.

The latter are also said to be fans of Hudson-Odoi but are unlikely to be able to compete with the financial muscle of their Bundesliga rivals.

Bayern are expected to spend big on wingers this summer with Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery set to leave the club in the near future.
