Abraham on brink of loan cancellation

Tammy Abraham could be set for a Stamford Bridge return this January, amid the news that no less than four Premier League clubs are interested in signing the striker.

Currently on loan at Aston Villa, the England international has taken the Championship by storm once again, scoring 14 goals in 19 games.

Consequently, a number of top-flight outfits have identified the 21-year-old as the answer to their problems.

The Daily Mail claim Wolves, Huddersfield, Burnley and Crystal Palace are all coveting the target man, who is due to stay at Villa for the duration of the current season.

With the exception of Wolves, the other three clubs may find themselves at the wrong end of the table come the end of the campaign, and need a goalscorer to start sending them northwards up the table.

It seems that Maurizio Sarri has decided Abraham does not have a long-term future at Chelsea, and is ready to receive a seasonally inflated fee for the forward.
