Chelsea deny accepting offer for Abraham

Chelsea have denied that they have accepted a £18m offer from Wolves for striker Tammy Abraham.

According to Goal, Chelsea have rubbished reports that Wolves have agreed a deal to sign Abraham on a permanent deal this month.

Abraham is currently on loan to Aston Villa in the Championship and has been heavily impressing in the second tier.

The young English forward has netted 16 goals and assisted one in 20 appearances for Villa, after joining on deadline day.

However, Chelsea have the option to recall him this month and could sell or loan him to another club.

Premier League sides Huddersfield, Newcastle and Crystal Palace are thought to be interested alongside Wolves, after seeing his goalscoring ability for Villa this season.

The report claims that Chelsea are considering their options and could yet loan Abraham out to another Premier League club before the end of the month.
