Inter confident of sealing Kovacic deal

Inter Milan are confident of securing a deal for Mateo Kovacic after his loan at Chelsea expires.

According to The Daily Mail, Inter are keen to bring Kovacic back to Italy from Real Madrid.

Chelsea have Kovacic on loan until the end of the season, with no clause in his contract to make it permanent.

He has been a key figure in the Chelsea midfield, but the report does not state whether or not they will challenge Inter for his signature.

Real Madrid are willing to listen to offers for Kovacic as they look to offload him permanently at the end of the season and Inter are hopeful of getting a deal over the line.

Kovacic made 97 appearances for Inter in a three-year spell at the club before his big move to Real in 2015. The Italian side are now hoping to bring him back to Milan after his impressive performances for Chelsea.
