Chelsea are considering a deal which would see Tiemoue Bakayoko involved in a swap to sign AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie in the summer.
According to Tutto Mercato, Chelsea are very interested in signing Kessie at the end of the season and are looking into the possibility of involving Bakayoko in the deal.
Bakayoko is currently on loan to Milan and the Italian club have an option to sign him for €35m at the end of the campaign.
However, Chelsea are potentially ready to allow Milan to sign Bakayoko for a cheaper fee and use him as a makeweight in a deal for Kessie.
Milan are said to value Kessie at €40m after his impressive displays in the Serie A so far this season – alongside Bakayoko in the midfield.
Maurizio Sarri wants to bolster his options in midfield – with Cesc Fabregas looking set to leave – and has identified Kessie as a target.
