Wolves confident they can complete a deal for Abraham

Wolves are confident that they will not run into any obstacles in their bid to sign Tammy Abraham this month.

The Independent reports that Wolves believe that they can bring in the striker during the January window.

Abraham featured in a Premier League 2 for Chelsea before completing his loan move to Aston Villa. This has led to suggestions that FIFA may block a move to Wolves.

Players are only permitted to play for two clubs during a single season, but it looks likely that the Chelsea game will not be taken into consideration, therefore allowing the move to go ahead.

Concerns over the ruling had thrown the move into doubt, but the Premier League side remain confident.

It had been reported that a permanent deal was on the cards, but Chelsea are only willing to loan the player out during the January window.

The Blues must now make a decision on the striker’s future soon and decide whether or not to offer him Premier League football for the second half of the season.
