Bayern and Dortmund linked with Morata

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has reportedly been lined up for a move to Germany, with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund linked with swoops for the player.

The Spanish international has been eyed by several clubs in recent weeks, as his future at Stamford Bridge continues to come under scrutiny.

Following the forward’s big-money move from Real Madrid in the summer of 2017, Morata has flattered to deceive and has struggled to develop consistency in a Chelsea shirt.

This has prompted speculation linking him with a departure from West London, as clubs from across Europe ponder January moves.

According to claims from Marca, as cited by Calciomercato, two new potential suitors have emerged in the race for Morata’s signature, with Bayern and Dortmund both keen.

Sevilla are reportedly pushing to complete a deal for the ex-Juventus star as they look to offer him a route back to his homeland this month.

The Blues have been linked with several strikers in recent times with Maurizio Sarri keen to add more firepower to his ranks ahead of the second half of the season.
