Chelsea transfer target Federico Chiesa is favourite to join Napoli, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The Serie A giants are reportedly in “pole position” to acquire the services of the Fiorentina winger, with regards to a summer move.
Juventus and Inter Milan have also shown interest in Chiesa, but Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis is confident of getting his man.
The 21-year-old has been continually linked with a switch to Chelsea in recent months, as the Blues look to inject fresh blood in attacking areas.
Maurizio Sarri was believed to be an admirer during his time with Napoli, but it looks as though the Blues could miss out.
Chiesa is set to cost his next employers as much as €60million, highlighting the quality he possesses.
He has won 11 caps for Italy since making his debut in March 2018, in a 2-0 defeat to Argentina.
Chelsea shouldn’t give up on getting a deal for Chiesa over the line, but a potential preference to stay in Italy could work against them.
