Inter Milan have been linked with a move to sign Emerson Palmieri from Chelsea this month.
According to a report from La Repubblica, as cited by Calciomercato, the Serie A giants are intent on adding the left wing-back to their squad for the second half of the season.
It is claimed that Inter manager Luciano Spalletti is a keen admirer of Emerson’s talents and would be interested in signing him on loan until the end of the current campaign.
The Italian international has struggled to secure regular game-time under Maurizio Sarri this term, with Marcos Alonso the preferred option on the left-hand side of the defence.
This has prompted speculation surrounding his future, with Inter reportedly now emerging as potential suitors for the former Roma star.
Chelsea only signed Emerson in the January transfer window last year, as he completed a switch to Stamford Bridge for a fee believed to be worth just over £17 million.
