Morata’s agent arrives for Sevilla talks

Alvara Morata’s move from Chelsea to Sevilla appears to be edger closer, according to reports in Spain.

Estadio Deportivo claim Morata’s agent, Juanma Lopez, arrived in Seville on Monday to discuss a deal for his player.

The La Liga outfit are keen on bringing an end to the striker’s disappointing spell at Stamford Bridge this month.

Chelsea are being linked with a host of big-game goalscorers, making Morata’s exit feel inevitable.

The Spaniard is believed to be keen on a return to his homeland, with Michy Batshuayi potentially returning to Stamford Bridge as a replacement.

After a blistering start to life in west London, things simply haven’t worked out for Morata.

He has struggled to adapt to the physical nature of the Premier League and has cut an increasingly unhappy figure.

Morata has scored just five league goals this season and his time in England appears to be at an end.
