Chelsea reportedly agree Gonzalo Higuain deal

Chelsea have agreed a deal for striker Gonzalo Higuain, according to Marca.

The Blues have been consistently linked with the Argentine in recent weeks, with Maurizio Sarri keen to bring in a new striker.

The reports states that Higuain has said yes to a move to Stamford Bridge, with a deal potentially completed imminently.

The 31-year-old is currently on loan at AC Milan, but both they and permanent club Juventus have seemingly sanctioned the deal.

Higuain flourished under Sarri during their one season together at Napoli in 2015/16, scoring 38 goals, which is a key reason behind the likely switch.

Should he seal a move to west London, it would spell the end of Alvaro Morata’s difficult time there.

The Spaniard is set to join Sevilla, after a bright start has turned into something of a disaster.

Higuain’s move to Chelsea is not being widely reported, however, so there could yet be a twist.
