Palmer completes loan move to Bristol City

Chelsea midfielder Kasey Palmer has completed a move to Bristol City on loan until the end of the season.

Bristol City have confirmed the deal, after Palmer’s loan with fellow Championship outfit Blackburn expired.

Palmer struggled to make the desired impact at Blackburn and will now be looking to end the season strongly under Lee Johnson at Bristol City.

The 22-year-old has shown his ability in the Championship in previous seasons, impressing for Huddersfield when they were promoted to the Premier League from the second tier.

Chelsea have sanctioned another loan deal for the attacking midfielder, who does not look to be in Maurizio Sarri’s plans going forward.

Palmer has been capped six times by England at under-21 level, scoring once, and is yet to make his senior bow for Chelsea.
