Barella set to reject Chelsea move
Chelsea transfer target Nicolo Barella is set to reject a move to Stamford Bridge this month for family reasons.
According to Tutto Mercato, via talkSPORT, Barella is ready to turn down the chance to sign for Chelsea, in order to stay in Italy.
The report claims that he is holding out for interest from some of the top clubs in Italy. The likes of Juventus, Roma, Napoli and Inter have all been linked in the past.
Chelsea are thought to have made a £45 million offer for the midfielder, who has been impressing in the Serie A this season.
Cesc Fabregas is on the verge of a move to Ligue 1 side Monaco and Chelsea are looking to replace the Spaniard this month.
The 21-year-old is closing in on 100 first-team appearances for Cagliari and has been capped four times by Italy.
He is one of the most highly rated midfielders in the Serie A, but Chelsea look set to miss out on signing him.
