Chelsea have reportedly launched a shock €15 million offer to sign Kasimpasa striker Mbaye Diagne.
According to reports in Turkey, the Blues have entered the race to sign the striker this month.
It is claimed that Chelsea are willing to pay around €15 million for the striker, but Kasimpasa want a fee of €30 million.
The forward has been impressing in Turkey and as a result, is being linked with a number of clubs.
Fellow Premier League side Wolves have been linked in recent days, with Chelsea’s search for a striker taking them far and wide around Europe.
The 27-year-old has scored 20 goals in 17 league appearances this season and his performances in the Super Lig are clearly not going unnoticed.
Chelsea are being heavily linked with a move for Gonzalo Higuain, but a deal to bring the Argentinian is going to be tricky to complete, both because of his loan deal with Milan and the board’s unwillingness to spend big on a player over the age of 30.
