The experienced midfielder has completed a permanent move to the Ligue 1 side after weeks of negotiations were concluded between the two clubs.
Following the arrivals of Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic during the summer transfer window, Fabregas fell down the pecking order under new boss Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge.
This prompted him to seek pastures new and it has been confirmed that he will be playing his football in France for the foreseeable future.
Fabregas will be desperate to make an immediate impact at Monaco as he bids to help Thierry Henry’s side push their way up the Ligue 1 table after a dismal start to the campaign.
