Everton show interest in signing Batshuayi this month

Everton are showing an interest in signing Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi this month.

According to The Mirror, Batshuayi is poised to leave Stamford Bridge on a permanent deal and Everton are one of the sides keen, in a move that could cost Marco Silva’s men a fee in the region of £14 million.

The report claims that Crystal Palace and Fulham are the other Premier League sides interested, while Ligue 1 outfit Marseille are also among the hunting pack.

Batshuayi has been on loan to Valencia in Spain, but Chelsea have cut his deal short as they look to shift him on in the coming weeks.

He struggled to find his feet in La Liga, with only one goal in the first half of the season, and just four league starts.

Everton are unable to go for Batshuayi on loan, as they currently have Kurt Zouma on a temporary deal from Chelsea.
