Chelsea are keen for Gonzalo Higuain to arrive in London on Friday ahead of his move to the club.
The Blues have reportedly agreed to sign the striker from Juventus on a loan deal until the end of the season, with options to buy or extend the temporary deal by a year included.
It is claimed that Maurizio Sarri is determined to have the forward ready and available by the time his side lock horns with Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
As such, it seems Chelsea will need to accelerate their pursuit of Higuain, with Italian news outlet Gazzetta, as cited by Calciomercato, indicating that the Blues want the player to arrive in London in the next 24 hours.
Sarri worked with Higuain during the pair’s time at Napoli together and is evidently looking to land him for Chelsea.
The Argentina international is set to arrive in West London as Alvaro Morata nears a move to Atletico Madrid following his struggles at Stamford Bridge this season.
