Maurizio Sarri is keen for Chelsea to complete a deal for Gonzalo Higuain in time for him to face Arsenal this weekend.
According to the Standard, as cited on the Express, the striker could fly to London to undergo a medical with the Blues today.
Chelsea have until lunchtime on Friday to register the player with the Premier League to ensure that he can play against Arsenal.

After chasing his signature throughout the summer, Chelsea finally appear to have got their man, to the delight of Sarri.
The pair enjoyed a fruitful relationship during their time together at Napoli and he will be hoping to reap similar rewards at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea were heavily linked with the striker over the summer, but he opted to join Milan with the Blues unwilling to spend big on the ageing forward.
However, the club have since changed their stance, with Sarri’s side desperately needing more firepower in the final third.
