Zeneli linked with Chelsea move

Chelsea will send scouts to watch Arber Zeneli in action for Heerenveen against Ajax on Sunday, according to reports.

It is claimed by Sky Sports, as cited by The Express, that the Blues have been impressed with the winger’s performances this season and will send representatives to take a closer look at the player this weekend.

Zeneli has been a standout player for his side in the Eredivisie this term and has contributed with three goals and eight assists from the flanks.

The 23-year-old will see his contract in the Netherlands expire at the end of the season, according to the report, indicating that Heerenveen could look to cash in on their prized asset.

Kosovo international Zeneli would be available for a lowly fee of just £5 million, it is claimed, as Maurizio Sarri continues to eye targets who will strengthen his attacking options.

Chelsea are understood to not be the only Premier League club monitoring the winger’s situation, with scouts from several other English sides reportedly set to attend the clash between Heerenveen and Ajax on Sunday.
