Chelsea interested in Lazio forward Ciro Immobile
Chelsea are eyeing a potential swoop for Ciro Immobile from Lazio this month, as they weigh up their transfer targets
According to Italian outlet Il Messaggero, Liverpool are sending scouts to watch Immobile play on Sunday as Lazio face Napoli away in the Serie A, whilst Chelsea also hold an interest in the forward.
Immobile has garnered a reputation as one of the best strikers in Europe over the past few seasons, with his goalscoring exploits for Lazio in Italy.
The Italian international netted 41 goals in 47 games for Lazio last season and has scored 10 goals in 19 Serie A appearances this term.
Chelsea are on the lookout for a new centre-forward, either this month or in the summer, and Immobile may be tempted by a move to the Premier League.
Gonzalo Higuain is reportedly set to join Chelsea on a loan deal until the end of the season, with Immobile a potential summer target.
