Chelsea are reportedly interested in Celta Vigo midfielder Stanislav Lobotka, but it looks like they’ll face competition for his services from Paris Saint-Germain.
According to reports from France, PSG are in the market for a new midfielder and that Lobotka is one of the players they are considering signing.
PSG are keeping their options open as they are discussing moves for Watford’s Abdoulaye Doucouré, Everton’s Idrissa Gueye, Zenit’s Leandro Paredes and Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Weigl but it looks like we can add Lobotka to the list too.
Chelsea have also been heavily linked with a move to sign Paredes in this transfer window, but it remains to be seen where both he and Lobotka end up.
It appears that Lobotka isn’t the first-choice option for either Chelsea or PSG ass they’d prefer to sign other targets, but he seems to be a backup option for both Maurizio Sarri and Thomas Tuchel as they look to make additions to their respective squads this winter.
