Andreas Christensen has cast serious doubts over his future at Chelsea after reportedly angering head coach Maurizio Sarri.
According to a report from The Times, Christensen, who was an unused substitute against Arsenal, left his spot on the Chelsea bench during the second half, despite the game having 15 minutes to play.
By this point in the match, Sarri had just used his third and final substitute, bringing on Callum Hudson-Odoi to replace Pedro, meaning there was no chance of the Italian needing to call upon the defender.
Christensen is said to have told his fellow team-mates on the bench that he was going to the toilet, however, the player would not appear again and remained in the changing room until full time.
Sarri is said to have reacted angrily to the news, in what could be interpreted as a lack of respect shown towards his fellow team-mates.

The Danish international has struggled to break into Sarri’s plans this season and this latest development will only raise more questions about where or when he is going to get his break at Chelsea this season.
